What is the size of the Hip Hatchling?
The bag itself measures approximately 10 inches tall by 10 inches wide based on the back panel. The main pocket is 2.5 inches thick.
The main pocket is a 9 inch oval. The window has about 7 inches of see through area above the tail.

What are the length of the straps?
There are two sizes of straps for the Hip Hatchling. Each bag INCLUDES a set of SHORT straps. We will open communication for backers who have a preference for the long straps, stay tuned!
Approximate size for SHORT straps: Waist: minimum is 15 inches, max is 30 inches Thigh: minimum is 6 inches, max is 12 inches
Approximate size for LONG straps: Waist: minimum is 30 inches, max is 60 inches Thigh: minimum is 15 inches, max is 30 inches

Can I mix n' match inserts?
Inserts that come included with the bag will match the design. If you add-on additional inserts you can pick from any colors available.

Will shipping be charged later?
Yes! You will notice that when you finish your survey and reserve your add-ons the shipping total will say “charged at a later date”. That date will be set and announced in updates closer to when pledges are being sent out, so we get the most accurate prices.

When will I be charged for add-ons and shipping?
Add-ons and preorders will charge on May 31st, 2025 when surveys are locked.
Shipping will be calculated and charged in late August, 2025. With items starting shipping in September!

Will you be accepting PayPal has a payment method?
No. Unfortunately PayPal’s strict policy on shipping an order within 30 days of it being placed puts us at risk of having funds frozen during production, a risk we cannot take.

We do apologize but no we cannot honor refund requests as production has begun and the funds gathered have been paid.

What if my items arrive damaged or are lost?
If they are damaged upon arrival please take photographs of the box and contents as evidence for claims. In the event of a lost package, we will work with you to get a replacement sent. In either event email us at [email protected] with your backer number/email/name and tell us about the issue. Please be kind as we have no control over the carriers process/policies.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
